A centralized list of books, articles, github projects, and forum discussions. While the database is not too exciting on it’s own, it is intended to spawn many zettlekasten entries on this sources. The notes in these are typically more summaries or more objective info about the source. The ZK entries have opinions, ideas, and reactions to these references.
Each entry has many meta fields that affect which linked views they are filtered into.
This is a linked view of zettelkasten entries with the project tag and a non-empty status assigned to them. It has some aggressive filters so I don’t get too overwhelmed by the number of projects.
Projects are created from the project ZK Entry template which includes a linked view for subtasks, and common prompts to help define the project as well as a linked view to contain any notes or questions associated with the project.
The What, Why, and How sections are generated from the Project template as it helps establish the goals and means to complete the project before jumping in. Optionally may throw in a mockup or conceptual image to make the card view look nice in the ZK Entry Index.

Tasks refers to a separate, central database of project tasks. The Status is the editable stage of the task using typical task management options, the state formula field is the calculated status based on the status of its child tasks.
When the big-picture is needed, the table can be switched to a list or kanban board view. The total % is displayed in the project field when non-empty.
